Mary Lou LaPratte was a long time Ipperwash resident/activist who lived through the nightmare of native violence and OPP/DND racial policing that ripped her community apart for years before and after the death of Dudley George. She spoke, along with Mark Vandermaas and Gary McHale, at their ‘Ipperwash Papers’ (www.IpperwashPapers.ca) news conference held in the Queen’s Park Media Studio on March 14, 2007 where they released over 400 pages of shocking documents regarding the victimization of non-native residents that never found their way into the Ipperwash Inquiry record.
